Honoring Our Veterans & the 100th Anniversary of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

November 13 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

Please join us on Saturday, November 13 for a special Honoring Our Veterans ceremony thanking and honoring all veterans and their families for their service and sacrifice to the United States, including Prisoners of War and those listed as Missing in Action.
In addition, this special event will commemorate those service members who have died with their remains unidentified. 2021 marks the centennial of The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is the final resting place for unknowns from World War I, World War II, and Korean War; it is guarded at all times. The space for the Vietnam Unknown is dedicated to honor all missing service members.
Since 1921, the neoclassical, white marble sarcophagus stands atop a hill overlooking Washington, D.C. The Tomb has also served as a place of mourning and a site for reflection on military service.
Please join us for this special event hosted by the City of Seabrook and the Sam Houston Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
