Virtual Campout with Space Center Houston

January 9, 2021 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Grab your camping gear and head to the backyard because the night sky is calling us to camp out.
Hear about adventures in space as Apollo 13 astronaut Fred Haise shares his story and answers your questions.
The theme for this event will be exploring the lunar surface.
As we prepare to return to the Moon with the Artemis program, and celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 14 mission, create your own model of the moon, make your own moon rock, and design your own lunar lander. Using household materials, science will come to life as you learn about space exploration.
Ordinarily, Space Center Houston’s Campouts are paid programs.
We recognize the financial difficulties the COVID-19 crisis has created for many people, and we want everyone to be able to participate and enjoy these educational and fun programs without price being a barrier.
As a result, we are offering this Virtual Campout to anyone who would like to participate and ask you pay whatever you are comfortable paying.
Please register for this amazing event soon. We can’t wait to see you under the stars!
