T-Bone Tom’s is a Kemah tradition that was started in 1974 selling barbeque sandwiches to the crew working on the Kemah/Seabrook bridge. The trade expanded to include steaks, seafood and plate lunches, and the restaurants reputation for serving good food continued to grow. Now almost thirty-five years later, they still sell the best barbeque, steaks and seafood in town.
The signature appetizer at T-Bone Tom’s is their famous Armadillo Eggs featured on Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives: a jalapeno stuffed with smoked brisket and deep fried to perfection!
With the expansions of Tom’s Backyard, full menu and cool drinks can be enjoyed among giant pecan and cottonwood trees. Tom’s backyard also schedules some of the best and most popular area bands. The venue has a rapidly growning reputation for providing top-notch entertainment. The bands start playing early in evening, weather permitting, so bring the kids.
