Let’s Create a Mardi Gras Headdress!

Wave a cheery hello to Mardi Gras by creating your own enchanting Mardi Gras Headdress! Happening on Saturday, January 13th at 11:00am at Texas City Library, this event promises a fun-filled journey into the vibrant world of Mardi Gras. Made possible by the generous sponsorship by the Bay Area Council on Drugs and Alcohol, this event is open to all and absolutely free!

Don't worry about prior registrations as walk-ins are always welcome (as long as supplies last). What's more, teens can indulge their artistic instincts by designing their very own Mardi Gras headdresses in the teen craft program scheduled for Thursday, January 18th at 3:30pm.

This event is part of a series of unique stress reduction activities, sponsored by the generous ""Happiness Grant"" from Texas Health and Human Services. By offering this event, the BACODA's Galveston County Community Coalition aims to strengthen community bonds and promote mental wellness while spreading joy. So come along and partake in the vibrant hues of Mardi Gras. Let's build a stronger and more resilient Galveston County together.
